Terms and conditions for using our website and purchasing our products

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Ebrora website at ebrora.com (the “Site”) and your purchase of digital products from us. By accessing the Site or making a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Ebrora is operated as a sole trader business based in the United Kingdom.

1. Definitions

In these Terms, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Ebrora. “You” and “your” refer to any visitor to the Site or purchaser of our products. “Products” refers to the downloadable digital Excel templates and spreadsheets sold through the Site. “Gumroad” refers to the third-party platform through which purchases are processed.

2. Products and Descriptions

We sell professional Excel templates designed for the UK construction and civil engineering industry. All products are digital files delivered as instant downloads. We make every effort to ensure product descriptions, screenshots, and feature lists are accurate. However, minor variations between previews and final files may occur due to software version differences or display settings.

Free PDF previews are provided so that you can assess a template's layout and content before purchasing. We strongly recommend reviewing the PDF preview before buying.

3. Purchasing and Payment

All purchases are processed through Gumroad. When you click “Buy Now”, you will be directed to Gumroad's checkout. Payment processing, transaction security, and receipt issuance are handled by Gumroad in accordance with their own terms of service and privacy policy.

Prices are displayed in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already completed.

4. Delivery

All products are delivered digitally as instant downloads. After successful payment through Gumroad, you will receive an email containing a download link. You can also access your files through your Gumroad library at any time. We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect email addresses or spam filters.

5. Licence and Permitted Use

When you purchase a product from Ebrora, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the template for your own professional or business purposes. This means:

  • You may use the template within your organisation, on your projects, and modify it to suit your needs.
  • You may not resell, redistribute, sublicence, or share the template file (or any modified version of it) with others outside your organisation.
  • You may not upload the template to any public repository, file-sharing service, or marketplace.
  • You may not claim authorship of the template or present it as your own product.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, product designs, VBA code, formulas, layouts, and template structures — is the intellectual property of Ebrora and is protected by UK and international copyright law. Purchasing a product does not transfer ownership of the intellectual property; it grants a licence to use as described in Section 5.

7. Refunds

Due to the nature of instant-download digital products, we generally do not offer refunds once a download link has been provided. However, we will consider refunds in specific circumstances. Please see our Refund Policy for full details.

8. Free PDF Previews

We offer free PDF previews for many of our templates. These previews are provided for evaluation purposes only and may not be used commercially, distributed, or modified. They remain the intellectual property of Ebrora.

9. Website Use

You agree to use the Site lawfully and not to:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site, server, or database.
  • Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract content from the Site.
  • Introduce viruses, malware, or any other harmful code.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation.
  • Use the Site for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.

10. Third-Party Services

Our Site integrates with third-party services including Gumroad (payment processing), Google Analytics (website analytics), and Formspree (contact forms). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of any third-party service.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our templates are provided “as is”. While we take great care to ensure our templates are accurate, functional, and professionally built, we do not warrant that they will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for every specific purpose. Templates are designed as productivity tools and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for safety-critical, legal, or regulatory decisions.

You are responsible for reviewing and validating any template output before using it in a professional or contractual context.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ebrora shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Site or our products. Our total liability for any claim related to a product shall not exceed the amount you paid for that product.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Ebrora harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of our products, or violation of any applicable law.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
